At least 10 of the adds were swims that a swimmer had performed 2 weeks earlir at Sockeye. It was a terrific effort: a summary by swimmer: Kately Anderson had her first meet and had four great swims, including a silver cut in the 50 free. Katelyn is only 9. Maggie Balan had her first meet with...

After a rough start to Junior Nationals on day one, Ali Abadi bounced back and broke his own club record in the 400 FR. This is a great example of how to conduct yourself at a championship meet. A good swimmer will always work hard to bounce back after a setback, never giving up on oneself. Today Ali joins Bryan Harvey and SSC college man Kyle Endres in the 100 Fly. Wish them luck!!!

We are a little late getting the meet report for the Grand Challenge meet out, but only because the host was later than usual getting the results to us. The grand challenge meet was attended by four coaches, with most of the heavy lifting from Coach Lynn and Loren. We had another fine meet. Age groupers (12 and unders) had 6 first swims, 28 drops, and 17 adds. That represents a success rate of 66.7%. Great job to all the coaches and swimmers. Once again, every swimmer brought home at...
