Dear SSC Members, Our summer program begins on June 22nd. Many of you run into people in the communiy looking for a summer swim program or a place to get in-shape for high school swimming. We provide both of these services and we would appreciate your help in promoting the program. Coach Ben has just printed SSC Promotional Tri-Folds. If you need a few for your local community center, church, club, gym or pool, just get in touch with Ben and he'll get you some materials. Thank you for helping...

Distance swimming is an area of competitive swimming that has not been pursued by many SSC swimmers. The SSC coaching staff would like to encourage more swimmers to consider trying distance races as they sign up for meets. For swimmers to be successful in distance swimming it's important to get an early start. With a proper aerobic base, many swimmers can be great distance swimmers; It just requires time and dedication. To help encourage distance swimming in meets we are opening up AM workouts for swimmers age 12 & up....
