Welcome to the StingRay Swim Club! We are currently taking registrations for the 2011-2012 swimming season. If you are a returning member go to "Join Team" and read thru the registration packet...there are many changes you will want to be aware of. As soon as you are comfortable and understand your commitments, please get your forms in! Prospective members should start by calling Coach Ben at 425-736-5600.

We have added a very small meet on our schedule for July 20th. The meet will run during workout 5:30-6:30 at Mariner. This meet is targeted specifically for swimmers with little or no meet experience. Water starts. Age group 1 will run from 6:30-7:30 on that day only. Event order 1. 25 Freestyle 2. 50 back 3 25 breast 4. 50 Free 5. 25 fly 6. 50 Breast 7. 25 back 8 100 IM

Age Groupers drove to Port Orchard and found the water much to their liking. There were 90 sucessfully completed swims, with 52 drops, 30 first swims, and only 8 adds, a success rate of over 90%. As often happens, every single swimmer came home with something to smile about. Further, the 10 and under girls got their medley relay qualified for PNS. This relay in looking increasingly strong. Katleyn Anderson, 100% PR's, dropped 23 seconds in 3 swims, made Gold in the 50 breast and 50 Free. Ashley Boar: 100%...

AG3/Seniors, The survey results are in and here are the results: The Bowling Championship is this Friday June 10th. The time is 4-6 PM. The place is Glacier Lanes close to Explorer at 9630 Evergreen Way Everett, WA 98204. UPDATED INFO: The cost is $10 per head: PAY "SSC" You will get shoes, bowling and drink. The game we will NOT play is Senior captains! The top prizes are definitely Starbucks cards! After we will have a combined workout at Explorer from 7-9 PM. PLEASE RSVP TO COACH BEN ASAP...

SSC Members: The sign-ups for our next session of swimming lessons (May 30-June 23) are now available on the website. We have both group lessons and private lessons available. If you have friends or neighbors with children ages 3-12 please pass the word. We have a growing list of instructors to meet whatever need is available. Some Selling Points: 4 to 1 student to teacher ratio…this is the best around for group lessons. All instructors are at least 18 and have the following certs: Red Cross CPR Red Cross First...

Swim-a-thon Flyer If you haven't heard yet, the Swim-a-thon is Wed. the 27th of April. Each swimmer will participate at their normal practice pool. AG3 and Seniors will swim at their regular times and will do dryland on schedule. The water portion of the day will be a standard 5000 yard straight swim. Parents are welcome on deck to record lengths (bring your own pens/paper). Swimmers at Mariner should expect paperwork and specifics from Coach Paul soon.
