2009-2010 Swim Meet List
Dear Members: It is nearly impossible to recommend what meets apply to what groups, given the range in ability within each of our squads. Therefore, please communicate with your DIRECT coach on your specific meet schedule so you are sure to sign up for the appropriate meets.
All meet entries are being done online this year and the events you enter will go DIRECTLY into the file sent to the host. There is NO chance for the coaching staff (Ben!) to mess up your entry; having said that, it will be very important that you read the meet information for each competition. In particular, please pay attention to the number of swims allowed per day and for the entire meet. Please watch for time standards. In Championship meets pay attention to the qualifying period, as some best times may be from outside of the qualifying period. Coaches WILL help you understand the system. Coaches WILL NOT check your entries and SSC will not refund for meet entry errors, since the club has to pay for all entries sent to the meet host without refund.
ENTERING A MEET ONLINE IS A COMMITMENT TO PAY! THIS INCLUDES SWIMMERS ENTERING A MEET WITHOUT PERMISSION. PARENTS, PLEASE MONITER YOUR ACCOUNT, AS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT! ENTERING A MEET REQUIRES YOUR PASSWORD.
