SRST: Another Volunteer Update!

In the long history of running swim meets with SRST (over 2 decades for me personally) we have NEVER had our volunteer spots fill up so fast.  In fact, I'm not sure we've ever filled every position.

Somehow we have filled EVERY volunteer slot in less than 45 minutes!  Not only has this never happened, but in past years we have literally had to bribe people to fill spots with account credits and other incentives.  

It's very unusual because our team is no larger than it has been.  

If you are currently trying to sign-up for a position, please email Angela Olszewski at [email protected].  Please let Angela know your desired session to work.  Angela will collect names through Wednesday of this week.  If we need to create more slots we will.  If we need to split shift times, we will.  If we need to reduce the requirement of 2 shifts down to 1 shift we will.

Please just email Angela and give us a couple days to see how many people are in need of a spot.  Once we see the numbers we will announce our solution.

Rest assured...if you want to help, we will find a spot for you and you will not be charged a non-volunteer fee.

This is actually an amazing problem to have and given our team size is about the same as last year and it's an indication that our membership is stepping up at a level never seen before.
