Intra Squad Meet Friday Sept. 28th
SRST Members,
Two Important Announcements:
- If you missed the Sockeye Sprint sign-up, I am mailing it at noon. Email me your events directly at [email protected] before noon....after that you cannot be entered by the team, but could "deck enter" at the meet.
- This Friday (Sept. 28th) Mariner Pool is shut down. We are having a Intra-squad swim meet at Explorer Middle School (9600 Sharon Dr. Everett...about 10 min. from Mariner). All swimmers (including Silver) are invited. This will be an opportunity for our younger swimmers to learn how a meet works. It will be run slowly and informally. Times will not be official. Swimmers do not need to sign-up before hand...just show up. The meet is being run from 4:30-6:30 PM. Parents are welcome to bring their kids in late if necessary due to work schedules. Note: Seniors will have regular running and weights on Friday.
Benefits include:
A) Younger swimmers learn meet rules and get a zero pressure first experience racing
B) Age group and senior program kids get exposure to one another (team building)
C) Practice race skills (all swimmers)
