swim meets!

Hi this is Coach Ben,

I have several important messages for SSC swimmers & parents.  This message may be replayed at the end and I will post the contents of this message in our NEWS section on the website.

First is that both the Spring Thunderbird and the VAST Summer Spectacular meet entries are due tomorrow, April 6th.  Meet info for both competitions are on our website.

The VAST meet which is in June has Long Course time standards (those standards are in the meet info and you must meet the standard for every event you enter).  These time standards are in Long course and we cannot convert times for entry purposes.  Swimmers without LC times may enter the VAST meet now.  Once we have established LC times we can update our file with the meet host.  This will allow us to get our foot in the door for this competition.  Swimmers wishing to enter the VAST meet should only sign up for events that they are going to swim in a LC race prior to the VAST meet (since you need a LC time).

Later today the Port Orchard Classic meet info will be posted on our site.  We will close entries for this meet next Wednesday, so there are several meets for your immediate consideration right now.
