Divisional results for Pentathalon

Age grouper had a great meet at Divisionals. The meet was of a pentahalon format and it was daunting in its size. SSC youngsters stepped up and just did a great job. There were exactly 150 successfully completed swims. 91 were drops, and 13 were first swims, leading to a success rate of  69%. There were only 3 DQ’s during the meet, which is remarkably low.

It was just a great meet overall. A summary:

Ashley Boar 4/5 best times.

Jessica Boar 4/5 best times.

Bobbie Bouma drtopped about 33 seconds, had 100% drops, and made silver 50 free and 50 breast

Theo Briggs: 100% best times.

Jack Busby Drops in 2/3 swims, made silver in 50 breast

Sudnie Chesley had 2 drops, and placed 9th in the 50 back.

Daniela Crosby drops in 3 of 5 events.

Takeru Doi Dropped in 4 of 5 swims, gold in 50 fly. Takeru had been swimming less than 1 year, and had 3 top 10 finishes.

Kaitlyn Flors 100% best times, silver in 50 fly

Jaida Frees, 2/3 best times

Jeshua Frees, 3/5 best times, including a nearly 7 second drop in his 50 breast. He placed 5th in the 50 back.

Tyler Kang had his first meet.

Albert Lefebvre had 3 best times out of 3.

Whitney Lyybert had 100% best times making silver in the 50 free and 50 fly

Jack Maley had 100% best times, dropping nearly 30 seconds (!) in 4 25’s and a 50.

Kynseth Mann had 3/5 best times.

Alejandro Medranda had 2 best swims

Zoe Medranda had a best time in her 50 free

Bea Obaob had 4/5 best swims

Nadia Prater had 100% best times, making silver in the 50 free
