When you have a spare moment,  could you please send out the following to ALL StingRays?

 

 

Hello StingRay Families,

 

It is time to sign up for your volunteer commitment.  Sharon Blomquist is coordinating the volunteers for this meet.  Please email her at  [email protected] or call her at 425-743-0594begin_of_the_skype_highlighting               425-743-0594      end_of_the_skype_highlighting between 6 PM and 9PM.  Please respond quickly for your preferred positions.

 

As you know, all StingRay families are required to work at our assigned meets.  We need everyone to work at least two shifts.  It is very important that everyone be on time for their shifts and wearing their red SSC t-shirts.

 

Shifts are:

 

AM                  7 am to 11:30 AM

Afternoon    11:30 AM to 4:30 PM

PM                   4:30 – 9 PM

 

 

Positions that are available are:

 

Security -  18 people  (3 per session)

To sit at a table at the top of the stairs.  These people will be in charge track of all who enter the swim deck. 

 

Heat sheet sales – 8  

To sell heat sheets and answer questions.

 

Clerk of Course – 6 (one for each session)

Working desk for answers for coaches, KCAC staff and swimmers.  Trained position

 

Hospitality – 18 (2 for each session)

To assist hospitality director in kitchen area with food prep and serving

 

Timers – 2 for AM and Afternooon session each (Needed as back-up timers)

                  18 -20 for PM sessions

Prelims –teams will be assigned lanes to time

Afternoon swimmers to provide own timers

 

Head timers – 24 (4 for each AM  session 2 for Afternoon and PM sessions)

To start two stop watches in case a timer’s watch does not start

 

Awards -6  (one for each AM and PM sessions)

To organize awards for teams.

 

Announcer – 9 (at least one per session)

To announce events

 

Poster/Runner 6 total (one for each AM and PM sessions)

To post results and to pick up relay sheets from timers.
